The IHCP seeks to improve general wellbeing and prevent substance misuse in youth and young adults by promoting resiliency, strengthening social and community connectedness, promoting healing, and screening and generating referral supports for youth (ages 6-17) and young adults (18-25) in at-risk situations in Webb and Zapata Counties.
To increase protective factors, enhance resiliency, and decrease risk factors.
To enhance attention and memory and improve mood by reducing feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression.
To ensure that participants are provide with access to information and resources in the community to meet their comprehensive needs.
