Funded by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, SCAN’s Todo Es Posible Recovery Support Services (RSS) Program has been designed to work with the recovery community in Webb County and other stakeholders to implement and sustain peer-to-peer recovery support services for individuals 18 and older with a history of substance use or misuse. The Todo Es Posible RSS Program will enhance available substance abuse treatment services by promoting recovery, reducing relapse, and intervening early when relapse occurs.
The peer-based recovery support services provided by the Todo Es Posible RSS Program will facilitate the provision of comprehensive services that:
1) stress the importance and power of recovery
2) rely on people in recovery to help deliver services, and
3) promote principles of self-care and cultural diversity.
